Dot Clash ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by Dot Clash Technologies, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over your data.
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and a unique identifier from Google. We use this to create your Dot Clash account. We never receive or store your Google password.
Guest sessions. If you play as a guest, we create an anonymous session linked only to your browser. No email or personal information is collected. Guest session data is not guaranteed to persist across devices or browsers.
Game data. We store your game history, win/loss/draw records, and usernames to power your profile and stats.
Usage data. We may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited for security, performance monitoring, and debugging purposes.
We use the following third-party services to operate Dot Clash:
We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active. Guest session data is stored only for the duration of the session and may be purged at any time.
If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
We use browser local storage to cache your game state for faster loading and to remember your theme preference (dark/light mode). We use cookies to maintain your authenticated session via Supabase.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Dot Clash is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Dot Clash after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
